Our membership fees are $5.00/year per person and $10.00/year per household.
The first thing to do if you are interested knowing about the club is contact Barbi to get on the mailing list. To join, print the membership form and send it in with your membership dues. If you’re not sure you want to join, come to a meeting and see what happens. Everyone is welcome!
We are learning as we go and getting to know each other. So far, club funds will cover annual dues to the Maine State Beekeepers Association and advertising for club speakers and events. Being a member of the club will allow you to help us make decisions about how the club should grow.

The Sacopee Valley Beekeepers Club (SVBC) is a local chapter of the Maine State Beekeepers Association (MSBA). We promote the art of beekeeping in the Sacopee Valley area of south-western Maine through open-hive sessions, monthly meetings, guest speakers, and other educational events. Anyone with an interest in beekeeping is welcome! No prior knowledge of beekeeping is necessary.
We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Horizon Building in South Hiram, Maine. The Horizon Building is next to the South Hiram Elementary School: 213 South Hiram Road, Hiram, ME 04041
