Maine Beekeepers & Varroa survey

September 26, 2018 By Maine Honeybee Man

Survey

My name is Winslow, and I’m a social scientist, farmer, and fellow CCBA beekeeper in North Yarmouth. With a small qualified team, I am developing a patent-pending technology to address varroa using an automated computer vision solution. Computer vision has been used to study varroa, though solutions using this technology have not yet come to market.

We are in the running for a social enterprise award from Columbia Business School to support product development, and are looking to learn from as many Maine beekeepers as possible, starting with CCBA.

As we work on our prototype, we’d love to hear about your beekeeping practices, and learn what questions you think we should be asking!

This survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete. Your responses are greatly appreciated!

Very best,
